Roger Clarke Daggers, Frisky With Comrade

Social media exploded last week when a picture of the Hon. Roger Clarke, Minister of Agriculture in Jamaica surfaced of him daggering a female comrade. Many conservative Jamaicans felt that his behaviour was inappropriate. Some believes he should set standards based on the position he holds.

One clearly not-too-pleased Facebook fan Ashley Lewis-Smith believes, "We need to have some standards though.... it's not about having fun. Have fun on your own time!!                   

This picture was taken at a People National Party's meeting held at Port Antonio High School. On careful observation of the picture, it is clear the minister had a captive audience. His fellow comrades were obviously enjoying his performance. Who to tell it may have been an icbreaker.

Come on Jamaicans, balance between work and a social life is important. He is a Jamaican and it goes to show he can relate to the way youths socialize. In fact, it is welcoming considering many older Jamaicans are usually critical. Another Facebook commenter Nickesha Small found it amusing and points out, "lol, I find nothing wrong with it, everybody need to have a little fun! ROGERDAT!!" Sydney Cambridge agreed, “It’s in our nature to be us Jamaicans! That's who we are! He's being a real Jamaican. Having fun”

The was not the first time the honourable minister showed how much he appreciates the Jamaican modern dance. He was captured on photo in 2011 engaging another comrade at another party's event.
